5K@IDF History

The 5K@IDF is an official activity of the IDF Congress that connects local citizens and IDF Congress delegates to jointly raise diabetes awareness. Since its inception at the IDF World Diabetes Congress 2006 in Cape Town, over 3000 participants have run and walked to emphasize the need for increased physical activity and to help prevent diabetes and diabetes complications. Through Novo Nordisk’s support, participation in the 5K@IDF is free for all.
